OBIT-Antonio Silva

MISSION - Antonio "El Borado" Silva, 87, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013 at his home.

He was born in Mission to Antonio and Jesusa Silva on July 8, 1926.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Isabel Silva; children, Juan Silva, Yolanda Silva, Maria Lourdes Martinez and Tony Silva; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Juanita Silva; son, Mucio Rodriguez; grandson, Alex Rodriguez; sisters, Carmen Garcia and Teresa Limon; and brothers Vicente and Guadalupe Silva.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Mission. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Hector Jr., J.D. Silva, Tony Martinez III and Michael Rodriguez and nephews, Leo and Jorge Limon, Eddie Hernandez, Raul Tanguma and Eloy Saenz.
