MISSION - Juan Villarreal, 71, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013 at McAllen Medical Center.
Mr. Villarreal was born to Jose Maria Villarreal and Mauricia Garcia Chapa on Oct. 12, 1941 in El Azucar, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Survivors include his wife, Guadalupe Villarreal; children, Juan Angel Villarreal, Delta Guadalupe Salinas, Jose M. Villarreal and Dinora Villarreal; brothers, Ismael Villarreal and Leonel Villarreal; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Manuela Aguirre, Beatric Guerrero, Rafaela Hinojosa, Roel Villarreal and Guadalupe Villarreal.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 22, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Flores Funeral Home chapel in Mission. The funeral mass will be held on Friday, Aug. 23, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
