OBIT-Antonia Urive Garza

McALLEN – Antonia Urive Garza, 76, passed away on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 at her home. She was born on Oct. 7, 1937, in Hualahuises, N.L., Mexico.

Mrs. Garza resided in Mission for many years and had recently moved to McAllen.

Survivors include her father, Dionicio Urive; children, Maribel Moreno, Silvestre Garza III and Blanca Casas; brothers Jose G. Urive, Rodolfo Urive, Conrad Urive and Ornaldo Urive; sisters, Alicia Garza and Mary L. Meredith; and five grandchildren

Preceding her in death were her husband, Silvestre Garza Jr., and mother, Esperanza Urive.

A funeral service was held on Oct. 28 at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission. Burial followed at Granjeno Cemetery.
