OBIT-Alan Thomas Gibbs

MISSION – Alan Thomas Gibbs, 54, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013 at his home in Mission.

Mrs. Gibbs was raised in Mission and was a 1978 graduate of Mission High School. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Mission.

Survivors include his children, Devin Gibbs, Chelsea Gibbs and Brandon Gibbs, all of Mission; parents, Dr. William and Bobbie Gibbs, Jr. of Meridian and formerly of Mission; sisters, Suzanne Ryan of Amarillo, Cindy Gibbs of Austin and Melissa Tolson of San Antonio.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dr. William and Charlotte Gibbs Sr. and Roland and Arlene Millsap.

A graveside service was held on Nov. 2 at the Meridian Cemetery in Meridian with Rev. Richard Creech officiating.
