OBIT-Gladys Bolden

MISSION - Gladys Bolden, 89, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013.

A lifelong resident of Mission, Mrs. Bolden was born in San Antonio. She married B.T. Bolden in 1942.  A licensed vocational nurse, she retired from Mission Hospital in 1986.

She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Harlingen until it closed and then joined Baptist Temple. She was a member of the Senior Ambassador Group.

Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Bolden Davis, a granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, B.T. Bolden.

A funeral service was held on Nov. 5 at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission. Interment followed at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
