OBIT-Delfina P. Garza

ABRAM - Delfina, 89, passed away on Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at Mission Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Garza was born on Feb. 12, 1924 in Rio Grande City.

Survivors include her children, Guadalupe J. Garza and Martin Garza from Palmview, Leonardo Garza Jr. from Friendswood, Lorenzo Garza from San Antonio, and Celia Menchaca, Celestino Garza and Irene Fonseca, all from Abram; brothers, Eduardo Perez, Maximiliano Perez and Mauricio Perez; sister, Dora Treviño, and 22 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonardo Garza; parents, Mauro and Santos Perez; and grandson, Martin Garza Jr.

The funeral mass will be held on Monday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Abram. Interment follows at San Jose Cemetery in Abram.

Pallbearers will be Gerardo Garza, Lorenzo Garza Jr., Pablo B. Menchaca, Juan Salvador Garza, Juan Martin Garza and Amy Menchaca.
