OBIT-D.A. Wallace

ALTON - D.A. Wallace, 69, passed away on Nov. 17, 2013 at Doctor's Hospital in Edinburg.

Mr. Wallace was born on April 21, 1944 in Des Ark, Ark. to Katherine Smith and Aniello Gerardi. Before joining the Navy in Pensacola, Fla. During his working career, he owned Diddler's Welding Service in Ft. Worth, supervised equipment and machinery at Burnip & Sims in Austin and was a Matco tool salesman in Austin and the Rio Grande Valley.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Diana; children, Teresa and Roger; siblings, Betty J. Petty, Sheila Donald and Michael Wallace; and four grandchildren.
