MISSION - Karen A. Remington, 74, passed away Monday, Dec. 9, 2013 in Mission.
Mrs. Remington was born on July 11, 1939 in Mountain View, Okla. She was raised and lived for over 30 years in Porterville, California. In 1961 she married Burton John "Bud" Remington. Karen was a self-employed bookkeeper for most of her career. In 1977 she and her family moved to Wichita Falls where they operated their own business. After retirement and traveling for 10 years, they settled at Hidden Valley Ranch in Mission.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Bud, of Mission; son, Mark of Dallas; daughter, Debbie Graf of Denton; brother, Doyle Krause; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman R. and Ella Helen Krause, and a brother, Marvin Krause.
A funeral mass was held on Dec. 14 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial followed on Dec. 16 at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Wichita Falls.
