MISSION - Rogelio Diaz Sr., 55, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission. He was born in Mission on November 14, 1955 to Jorge and Lidia Diaz.
Mr. Diaz is survived by his daughter, Sonia (Jason) Luna of Mission; son, Rogelio (Julissa) Diaz Jr. of Mission; brothers and sisters, Porfirio Diaz and Raul Diaz of Mission, George Diaz of Houston, Juanita Rangel of Mission, Irene Torres of Florida, Irma Peña of Mission, Dalia Diaz and Dora Jones of Houston, and Francis Pérez of Mission; and three grandchildren, Alyssa M. Garza, Jacob M. Diaz and Madison J. Luna.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Juanita Diaz, and brothers, Reymundo and Roberto Diaz.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Tuesday, May 17, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Flores Memorial Chapel in Mission. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, at the same location. Interment follows at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
