OBIT-Lorenzo Anzaldua Sr.

MISSION - Lorenzo Anzaldua Sr., 72, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014.

Mr. Anzaldua was born on June 19, 1941 in Mission.

Survivors include his children, Lorenzo Anzaldua Jr., Antonio Anzaldua, Jose Luis Anzaldua and Mary Anzaldua; sister, Maria Jacinta Garcia; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Estela G. Anzaldua; parents, Juan C. Anzaldua and Guadalupe Mendoza; and brothers, Ernesto Anzaldua and Leonel Anzaldua.

The funeral mass was held on Jan. 27 at Our Lady of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Mission. Interment followed at Granjeno Cemetery.
