OBIT-Terri Linn Bortness

HARLINGEN – Terri Linn Bortness, 54, of Harlingen, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014.

Born in Mission to LeRoy and Patsy Bortness on Sept. 10, 1959, she graduated from Sharyland High School with the Class of 1978.

Survivors include her husband, Roberto Gonzalez; parents, LeRoy and Patsy Bortness of San Antonio; daughters, Ashley Elrod and Megan Mulligan; and three granddaughters.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, Feb. 7, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park in La Feria.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Harlingen Sports Center, c/o Art Saenz, P.O. Box 110, Harlingen, TX 78552.
