MISSION – Bernardo “Bernie” Herrera, 18, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in Los Angeles, California.
Survivors include his parents, Juanita Mejia and Bernardo Herrera; brother, Uriel Herrera; maternal grandparents, Ester and Miguel Mejia; paternal grandmother, Maria Guadalupe Herrera; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bernardo Herrera.
Visitation will be held June 2 at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home from 2 to 9 p.m. with a rosary service at 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be held June 3 at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Mission. Interment follows at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in McAllen.
