OBIT-Rosa Maria Guerrero Villarreal

MISSION/CORPUS CHRISTI - Rosa Maria Guerrero Villarreal, 55, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at her home in Corpus Christi.

She was born March 7, 1959, in Mission to Alvaro Julio and Adela Guerrero. In 1986, she began her career with Central Power & Light Co. until she eventually became a service dispatcher with the same company now known as American Electric Power.

Survivors include her children Roman Villarreal, Rena Talley, J.R. Villarreal; her mother and seven siblings; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rene’ Villarreal; sister, Maria Lena Guerrero; and her father.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, and Friday, July 25, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission. The funeral mass will be held Saturday, July 26, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
