OBIT: Aaron Mendoza

GRANJENO – Aaron Mendoza, 49, went with Our Lord on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Mission Regional Medical Center. He was born to Juan Sr. and Delia Mendoza on Jan. 9, 1962 in Mission.

He is survived by his parents; siblings, Marina (Willie) Lopez, Mario Mendoza, Gustavo (Josie) Mendoza, Hernan (Rebecca) Mendoza, Rosie Trevino, Juan (Renata) Mendoza Jr., Elisa (Eddie) De Rueda and Ted (Claudia) Mendoza; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding him in death were his sister, Anne Margaret Mendoza, and grandparents, Jose and Aurora Anzaldua and Micaela Mendoza.

The funeral mass will be held on June 13 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Fatima Catholic Church in Granjeno. Burial will follow at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission with full military honors.
