MISSION – Jose Angel Olivarez, 70, entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
He is survived by his wife, Martha C. Olivarez; children, Casimiro Olivarez, Blanca Estella Arteaga, Enedelia Perez, Eglantina Morin, Francisco J. Olivarez, Eulalia Jimenez, Elizabeth Cortez, Cindy Cedillo and Jose Angel Olivarez-Cabrera; brother, Juan Manuel Olivarez; sisters, Idolinda Flores and Alicia Flores; 27 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Casimiro and Emerenciana (Garcia) Olivarez, and a son, Jose Angel Olivarez Jr.
A chapel service was held June 11 at Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen. Interment followed at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen.
