ALTON - Francisco Cavazos, 42, left to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born to Benito Cavazos and Celia Cadena in Edmore, Michigan on May 29, 1969.
He is preceded in death by his mother.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Joaquina Cavazos; children, Amanda Joyce Cavazos, Francisco Cavazos Jr. and Celia Elida Cavazos; father, Benito Cavazos; siblings, Angie Cavazos, Esther (John) Valles, Eva (Ruben) Gutierrez, Benito (Alicia) Cavazos, Elena (Narciso) Ortega, Estefana (Ramiro) Barco, Amado Cavazos, and Herlinda (Juan) Hinojosa; in-laws, Guadalupe Lechuga and Ana Elida Lechuga.
He will be greatly missed by numerous nephews and nieces. Family will receive friends July 5 from 2 to 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Virgil Wilson Memorial Chapel in Mission. The funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
