MISSION – Jack Lamar Wolfe, 65, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Solara Hospital in McAllen.
Mr. Wolfe served in the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant Colonel and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member a Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity at Pan American, a former Assistant District Attorney in Hidalgo County, former U.S. Attorney in Brownsville and McAllen, and had a private law practice in McAllen.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia G. Wolfe of Mission; children, Coleman Thacker Wolfe of McAllen and Ryan Padgett Wolfe of Mission; stepmother, Helen Jean Wolfe of Weslaco; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Skinner-Silva Funeral Home of Edinburg at 1:30 p.m. Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 101 of Pharr.
