MISSION - Manuel Morin, 79, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2011 at his residence in Mission. He was born to Florentino and Cipriana Morin on December 1, 1931 in Camargo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Mr. Morin is survived by his daughter; Hilaria (Rolando) Hernandez; sons, Manuel (Magdalena) Morin Jr. and Roberto (Elva) Morin; sisters, Guadalupe Morin and Margarita Morin; brothers, Lolo Morin and Ramiro Morin; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Morin; and daughter: Nelda Camargo; and his parents.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 10, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at The Lord & I Memorial Chapel in Penitas with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 11, at 10 a.m. at St. John of the Fields Catholic Church of Mission. Burial will follow at Lord and I Cemetery in Palmview.
Honorary pallbearers will be Manuel Morin Jr., Rolando Hernandez Jr., Danny Hernandez, Ricardo Hernandez, Joey Garza, and Aaron Robichaud.
