MISSION - Corina G. Hernandez, 68, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011. She was born on January 10, 1943 to Manuel and Victoria Garcia.
Mrs. Hernandez was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Ernestina Peña.
She is survived by her husband, Abraham Diego Hernandez Sr.; sons, Guadalupe M. Hernandez and Abraham D. Hernandez Jr.; daughters, Victoria Kilgore and Paula Hernandez; brother, Amadeo Garcia; and grandchildren, Meggie Gonzalez, Thea Gonzalez, Carissa Gonzalez, Roxanne Hernandez, Guadalupe Hernandez Jr., Abraham Hernandez, and Jolie Hernandez. Corina devoted her entire life to her family.
A funeral mass will be held Friday, August 19, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Mission.
