LA JOYA – The La Joya Lady Coyotes put on a tough full-court press that held the Lady Warriors to 11 points at the half and gave the Lady Coyotes a 48-24 win in the district contest to give the Lady Coyotes a 1-1 district record. Karla Trevino led the Lady Coyotes with 11 points. The Lady Coyotes are 13-8 overall.
