You are commanded to appear and answer in this matter at or before 10 o’clock a.m. of the first Monday after the expiration of 42 days from the date of issuance thereof, the date for answer being January 24, 2014.

If you or your attorney do not file a written answer with the clerk who issued this citation by the answer date, a judgment may be entered adversely affecting your rights in certain real estate, All of Lot 5, Chacon Estates Unit No. 1, Hidalgo County, Texas. The petition of the Plaintiffs, MARTIN ANDRADE and MARIA GUADALUPE ANDRADE, was filed in the 93rd District Court of Hidalgo County, Texas on December 6, 2013, naming you as Defendants. The law suit seeks a declaratory judgment that all payments have been made under a contract for deed recorded as document number 1666849 in the land records of the County Clerk of Hidalgo County, Texas and that the Plainitiffs are entitled to a conveyance of the subject property from the Defendants. Further, the petition asks for a judgment declaring that the Plaintiffs are henceforth the owners of the subject property and awarding the interest of the Defendants to the Plaintiffs.

A brief nature of the suit is as follows: PLAINTFFS PRAY FOR CLEAR TITLE TO THE PROPERTY AT: ALL OF LOT 29, EZEQUIEL ACEVEDO, JR. SUBDIVISION, UNIT NO. 2, HIDALGO COUNTY, TEXAS. ACCORDING TO THE MAP RECORDED IN VOLUME 22, PAGE 68 OF THE MAP RECORDS IN THE OFFICES OF THE COUNTY CLERK OF HIDALGO COUNTY, TEXAS, REFERENCE TO WHICH IS MADE HERE FOR ALL PURPOSES; AND ALSO KNOWN AS 1013 ACEVEDO LANE, MISSION, TX 78572, AND DAMAGES IN AN AMOUNT TO BE PROVEN AT TRIAL, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ACTUAL DAMAGES, DIRECT AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, ATTORNEY FEES AND TAXABLE COURT COSTS.

The officer executing this writ shall promptly serve the same according to requirements of law, and the mandates thereof, and make due return as the law directs.

HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MISSION

PUBLIC NOTICE

Public notice is given that the Housing Authority of the City of Mission, Texas will suspend taking Housing Assistance Applications for the Leased Housing (Section 8) Program and Public Housing (Low Rent) Program. The waiting list will be CLOSED effective 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 13th, 2014; with the EXCEPTION of Public Housing (Low Rent) Program for the elderly and certified handicap head of household applicants. The waiting list will remain closed until further notice. The closing of the waiting list was a decision by unanimous vote of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority at it’s December 18th, 2013 Regular Board Meeting.

Estamos notificando publicamente que el Housing Authority de la ciudad de Mission, Texas, dejara de aceptar solicitudes para asistencia de viviendas bajo el programa Seccion 8 y Vivendas Publicas. Esta suspension se efectuara el dia Jueves, 13 de Febrero, 2014 a las 8:00 a.m.; con la EXCEPCION del program de Viviendas Publicas seguira aceptando solicitudes para personas de la tercera edad y discapacitadas certificadas (encabezado de la familia). La lista de espera continuara cerrada hasta nuevo aviso. Esta decision fue tomada por unanimidad por los miembros de la Mesa Directiva de Comisionados del Housing Authority en una junta regular que se llevo acabo el dia 18 de Diciembre, 2013.
