OBIT-Claudia I. Cuellar
MISSION – Claudia I. Cuellar passed away on Feb. 8, 2014 in Houston.
She was born in Weslaco on July 20, 1971 to Jose and Rosa Cuellar. She graduated from Mercedes High School in 1990, continued her education and worked at McAllen Medical Center for 18 years. She married Juan Sandoval and they raised their family in Mission.
Survivors include her husband, Juan Sandoval; children, Samantha C. Romero and Juan Pablo Sandoval; mother, Rosa Cuellar; and siblings, Jose J. Cuellar and Rosita Cavazos.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Cuellar.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
