DEATH NOTICE-Rosa Piña

MISSION – Rosa Perez Piña, 84, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014.

Born in Milpa, N. L., Mexico on June 22, 1929, she emigrated with her husband and children to Mission in 1960.

Survivors include her sons, Jesus Jr., Javier and Joel Piña and daughters, Maria Salazar, Enedelia Kidd and Isabel Piña; and 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Piña, and daughter, Hermelinda Lopez.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission. The funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 25, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
