OBIT-Loreta G. Sanchez

MISSION – Loreta G. Sanchez, 91, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014, at Arbor View Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Edinburg.

She was born to Cruz and Ezequia de la Garza and on Feb. 25, 1923 in Hidalgo.

Survivors include her sons, Isaac Todd Sanchez and Daniel Sanchez; brother, Felipe de la Garza; and five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Florentino Sanchez, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service at Virgil Wilson Funeral Home in Mission. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
