OBIT-Victoria “Toya” Navarro

MISSION – Victoria “Toya” Navarro, 56, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at her home in Mission.

She was a bartender and comedian at Pepe’s on the River.

Survivors include her siblings, Becky Salazar, Pilar Navarro, Alicia Galvan, Matias Navarro, Jose Mauricio Navarro, Irene Jackson, Patricia Navarro and Joe Navarro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Santos Sr. and Maria Navarro, and a sister, Rosa Farias.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission.
