OBIT-Severino Villarreal

MISSION – Severino Villarreal, 97, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014, at his home.

Mr. Villarreal was born on Jan. 8, 1917, in El Azucar, Tamps., Mex. to Severino and Jacinta Villarreal.

Survivors include his children, Maria Deyanira Santos of Reynosa, Tamps., Mex., Humberto Villarreal of Mission, Aurora Hernandez of Pharr, Jose Angel Villarreal of Mission and Graciela Gonzalez of Mission; and 20 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Aurora Arevalo de Villarreal.

The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 25, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
