OBIT-Iris Aida De La Rosa

MISSION – Iris Aida De La Rosa, 75, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Mission Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include her children, Olga Lydia Villescas, Vicente De La Rosa, Jr., Eduardo De La Rosa, Martin De La Rosa, David De La Rosa and Daniel De La Rosa; sister, Josefina Salinas; and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vicente Rafael De La Rosa; son, Jesus Reyes De La Rosa; brothers, Ramiro Benavidez and Vitelio Munoz Jr.; and a sister, Estefana Rodriguez.

Visitation services will be held on Wednesday, July 23, from 3 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Mission.
