OBIT-Alex F. Canales

SULLIVAN CITY – Alex F. Canales, 71, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Mission Regional Medical Center.

He was born on Dec. 24, 1942, in Ciudad Mier, Tamps., Mexico to Idelfonso and Maria Santos Canales.

Survivors include his wife, Josefa Canales; children, Servando Canales and Armandina Canales; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral mass was held on July 26 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Sullivan City. Interment followed at Sullivan City Cemetery.
