OBIT-Esperanza Palomo
MISSION – Esperanza Palomo, 58, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2014, at her home in Mission.
She was born on May 8, 1956, in San Francisco, Tamps., Mexico, to Andres and Maria Ramirez Palomo. She started her teaching career at La Joya ISD, but she had recently retired from Hidalgo ISD where she served 25 years.
Survivors include her parents; siblings, Maria de Jesus Palomo, Juan Manuel Palomo, Julia Palomo, Jose Luis Palomo, Humberto Palomo and Rebeca Palomo.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Simon Palomo, and her paternal grandparent, Hilario and Maria de Jesus Palomo.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. at Templo Biblico Church in Alton. Interment will follow at Garden of Angels Cemetery in Abram.
