OBIT-Felipe Ruiz Esparza

MISSION- Felipe Ruiz Esparza, 91, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014, at Doctor’s Hospital in Edinburg.

He was born to Guillermo Ruiz Esparza and Altagracia Adame on March 17, 1923, in Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico.

Survivors include his children, Guillermo Ruiz Esparza, Rosa Viquez, Felipe Ruiz Esparza Jr., Carlos Ruiz Esparza and Laura Riplow; and 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Zulema Ruiz Esparza Ramon.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 2 to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at Virgil Wilson Mortuary in Mission.
