OBIT-Elvira C. Muñoz

MISSION – Elvira C. Muñoz, 84, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, at Mission Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in La Grulla on March 11, 1930.

Survivors include her son, Arturo Muñoz Jr.; daughters, Ana Muñoz Garcia, and Diana Rhodes; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arturo Muñoz, and her sons, Jose Manuel Muñoz and Rene J. Muñoz.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 19, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at Flores Funeral Home in Mission. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
