OBIT-Seferina Sepulveda

ALTON- Seferina Sepulveda, 89, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at Mission Regional Medical Center.

She was born to Serapio Cruz and Guillermina Hernandez in Teocaltiche, Jalisco, Mexico on Aug. 26, 1925.

Survivors include her husband, Fidencio Sepulveda; children, Guadalupe Sepulveda, Baldo Sepulveda, Antonio Sepulveda, Consuelo Sepulveda, Maria Sepulveda, San Juanita Hernandez and Ignacio Ibarra; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 11, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary recited at Virgil Wilson Mortuary in Mission. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m. at St. John of the Fields Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
