OBIT-Luis F. Gonzalez

MISSION – Luis Gonzalez, 78, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, at Las Palmas Healthcare Center in McAllen.

He was born in Mission on Oct. 31, 1935 and was a lifelong resident of Mission.

He was proceeded in death by his mother, Isabel Gonzalez; father, Luis Pablo Gonzalez; sisters, Maria Elena Segovia, Maria Luisa De Leon, Maria Manuela Gonzalez and Teresa G. Salinas; and brothers, Jose Gonzalez, Juan Pablo Gonzalez and Simon Gonzalez.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, Oct. 17, at 12 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at San Jose Cemetery in Mission.
