OBIT-Victor Garcia Galvan Sr.
MISSION – Victor Garcia Galvan Sr., 57, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015. Victor served his country with distinction as a part of the United States Marine Corps from January 22, 1985 until he was honorably discharged on January 27, 1990.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Galvan; his sons, Marco Antonio DeLuna, Orlando Xavier DeLuna, Victor Omar Galvan Jr.; daughter, Jessica Yanette DeLuna; mother, Maria De La Luz Galvan; siblings, Maria Elva Marquez, Rosana Rock, Cynthia Galvan, Pedro Galvan II, Ulysses Galvan; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Galvan Sr.; and his brother, Hector Galvan.
Funeral services were held today, March 30, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial followed at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
