OBIT-Margaret F. Cooper

MISSION/PHARR – Margaret F. Cooper died on Friday, May 8, 2015. She was born on April 2, 1921 in Blooming Grove, Texas. She was married to her husband during World War II, but had lived in the Rio Grande Valley since 1953.

She is survived by her son, Craig Cooper; two grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford F. Cooper; her parents, Susan W. Porterfield and James K. Porterfield Sr.; and four brothers and one sister.

Visitation for Margaret will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kreidler Funeral Home on Monday, May 11, 2015. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Church of Christ, 625 E. Sam Houston, Pharr. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery on North Taylor Road.
