OBIT-Hilario Posada

ALTO BONITO/LA GRULLA – Hilario Posada, 73, passed away Tuesday May 12, 2015 at the McAllen Heart Hospital. He was born on January 14, 1942 in Portland, Texas to Brijido and Fidencia Posada.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Delfina Medelez Posada; his children, Dora Lee Posada, Samuel Posada, Hilario Posada Jr., and Eric Lee Posada; his sisters, Irene P. Flores, Adelfina Mungia, Carmen Diaz, Linda Mungia, and Eva Briseno; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Andres and Gilberto Posada.

Visitation will continue on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Chapel of Peace of Hernandez Funerals, 701 E. Eisenhower, Rio Grande City. The Holy Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian burial rites will be celebrated on Friday May 15, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in La Grulla. Burial will follow to Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission.
