OBIT-Hercilia G. Ramirez

MISSION – Hercilia G. Ramirez, 93, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.

She was born to Jose L. and Cruz Gonzalez on Nov. 25, 1921, in Mission.

Survivors include her children, Alicia Nilda Saenz, Alma Noelia Rodriguez, Baldomero Ramirez Jr., Aida Norma Ramirez and Diana Hercilia Ramirez; and 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Baldomero Ramirez.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at Virgil Wilson Mortuary in Mission. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, Aug. 20, at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
