OBIT – Macedonio Gonzalez

MISSION – Macedonio Gonzalez passed away on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, after a short illness.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Ramona Gonzalez; children, Yolanda Gonzalez, Maria Elena Sital, Cynthia Guzman and Macedonio Gonzalez, Jr.; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 23, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at Del Angel Funeral Home in Mission. A funeral will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Mission. Burial follows at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
