OBIT – Hipolita Leos

PEÑITAS – Hipolita Leos, 89, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Doctors Hospital in Edinburg.

Mrs. Leos was born on Aug. 22, 1926 on Aug. 22, 1926, to Cipriano Alvarado and Maria Rosa Solis in Fresnillo, Zac., Mexico.

Survivors include her children, Hector Leos, Jesus Lorenzo Leos, Rosa Maria Snell, Ricardo Leo and Irma Herrera.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Leos; her parents; brother, Carlos Alvarado; grandchildren, Cherelle Leos and Richard Lee Leos; and great-grandchild, Emily Francis Brown.

A funeral mass was held on Aug. 1 at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in La Joya. Burial followed at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
