OBIT – Margarita Garza

MISSION – Margarita Garza, 67, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.

Mrs. Garza was an active member of Our Lady of St. John of the Fields Catholic Church in Mission and with Grupo Guadalupana at the church.

Survivors include her children Leticia Cantu of La Sara, Anel Gomez of McAllen, Rudy Garza of Mission and Daniel Garza of Edinburg; brother, Marcelino Uresti; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Rodolfo Garza; parents, Marcelino and Luz Uresti; and sisters, Maria Nieves Gutierrez and Blanca Noelia Ortiz.

A funeral mass will held on Monday, Aug. 29, at St. John of the Field’s. Burial follows at Garden of Angels Cemetery in Abrams.
