OBIT – Martina Vasquez

MISSION – Martina “Martha” Rodriguez Vasquez, 91, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Mission Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include her sons, Jose Alberto Vasquez and Jose Alfredo Vasquez of Mission and Joel Omar Vasquez of Maryland; sisters, Alicia Salazar of Burleson, Angelita Sanchez of Mission, Carmen Garcia of Palmview and Ernestina Green of Edinburg; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Matilde Rodriguez; husband, Atilano Vasquez; and three sisters and three brothers.

A funeral mass will be held Monday, March 13, at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial follows at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
