OBIT – Antonio Rodriguez

PALMVIEW – Antonio Rodriguez, 89, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at his home in Mission.

Mr. Rodriguez was a native of Los Ramones, N.L., Mexico, and was a lifelong resident of Mission. He owned Tony’s Texaco for 40 years and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission.

Survivors include his children, Diana Vargas, Juan Antonio Rodriguez, Maria Enedina Garcia, Elva Solis, Ramona Vasquez, Diana Huebner, Eduardo Rodriguez, Javier Rodriguez, Anna Rodriguez, Armando Rodriguez, Norma Casanova, Idalia Gonzalez, Jorge Rodriguez and Leticia Rodriguez; brother, Arturo Rodriguez; and 56 grandchildren and 105 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Ramona Rodriguez; daughter, Norma Casanova; and a sister, three brothers and three grandchildren.

A funeral mass was held on April 1 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial followed at Catholic Cemetery in Mission.
