OBIT – Pilar Leal

MISSION – Pilar S. Leal passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017.

Mrs. Leal was a co-founder of the church of San Juan Diego, ministering to the Colonia of El Flaco.

Survivors include her spouse of 63 years, Amado Leal Sr.; children, Carlos Leal, Alma Arriola, Armando Leal; brother, Enrique Sifuentes; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Amado Leal, Jr., and parents, Francisca Lopez Sifuentes and Albino Sifuentes.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 5, at 10 a.m. at San Juan Diego Catholic Church in Citrus City, located at Seven Mile and Western Roads. Burial follows at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the church of San Juan Diego.
