OBIT – Pauline Longwell

MISSION – Pauline Longwell, 91, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at her home in Mission.

Mrs. Longwell was born in Eaton Rapids, Mich., on July 1, 1925, to Susan and Irving Wildt into a family of six siblings. She was married for 58 years.

She was a life member and Past Worthy Matron of the Mission Order of the Eastern Star, the Past Matron’s Club and was a past Mother Advisor for the Rainbow Girls of Mission. She was a charter member of the Busy Bee Home Demonstration Club for over 50 years and served as president many times. She also served as a president of the Federation of Womens Clubs and was a member of the Past President’s Club. Pauline was a member of the Friday Book Review, the Sharyland Chatter Chums, First United Methodist Church in Mission.Survivors include her three children, Suzanne Gray, Lorraine Longwell and Darrell Longwell, and seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, May 1, at 10:30 a.m. at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
