OBIT – Maria Cavazos

MISSION – Maria de Jesus Cavazos, 92, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Mission Regional Medical Center.

She was born on Aug. 9, 1924, to the late Seferino and Susana (Garcia) Cavazos.

Survivors include her children, Jose Luis Garza of Mission, Gustavo Garza of Pharr, Nora Elvia Perez of Mission, Aurelia Robledo of Mission, Graciela Salinas of Edinburg, Sylvia Wilson of McAllen and Sandra Salinas of Mission; and 29 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 17, at 10 a.m. at Rivera Funeral Home in Mission. Burial follows at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
