NOTICE TO PUBLIC AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF MISSION
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
ENTITLEMENT PROGRAM
PROPOSED ONE YEAR ACTION PLAN 2017-2018 (DRAFT)
In compliance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) rules and regulations, the City of Mission hereby announces its proposed One Year Action Plan 2017-2018 (DRAFT) for its 34th Year Entitlement Program is available for public review and comment. Further, there will be two public hearings held regarding the budget and proposed projects for the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) as recommended by the Citizens Advisory Committee. All interested agencies and citizens/residents are encouraged to attend and participate in the public hearing. The public hearings are part of the Community Development Block Grant Program Citizen Participation Plan process and complies with program requirements. The thirty day comment period for this document is from May 26, 2017 through June 26, 2017. Oral and/or written comments will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 26, 2017.
En cumplimiento con los reglamentos del Departamento de Vivienda y Desarrollo Urbano (HUD) de los Estados Unidos, la Ciudad de Mission anuncia que su Plan de Acción de un año 2017-2018 (PROVISIONAL) propuesto para su Programa de Derechos del Trigésimo Cuarto año está disponible para revisión y comentario público. Además, se llevarán a cabo dos audiencias públicas con respecto al presupuesto y los proyectos propuestos para el Programa de Desarrollo Comunitario (CDBG), según lo recomendado por el Comité Asesor de Ciudadanos. Se fomenta a todos los organismos interesados y ciudadanos / residentes asistir y participar en la audiencia pública. On May 9, 2017 the Citizens Advisory Committee made the following funding recommendations utilizing the City’s 2017 (CDBG) ESTIMATED Allocation of $904,240.

Due to the delays in appropriation of funds for CDBG, the City of Mission’s contingency provision states that any increase or decrease in funding to match actual allocation amounts relative to the grantee’s estimated allocation will be applied to the Housing Assistance Program.
