OBIT – Juanita Rivera

MISSION – Juanita S. Rivera, 94, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017, in Mission.

Mrs. Rivera was born on Oct. 20, 1922, in Mission.

She is survived by her children, Irene Ortiz, Dora Luna, Ricardo Rivera and Irma Ortiz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eluterio and Micaela Esquivel Sandoval; husband, Geronimo Rivera; and children, Geronimo Rivera Jr. and daughter Gloria Garcia.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 28, from 2 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at Virgil Wilson Mortuary in Mission. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June 29, at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial follows at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
