OBIT – Lucrecio Flores Jr.

PALMVIEW – Lucrecio Flores Jr., passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017, at his home in Palmview.

Mr. Flores served in the U.S. Army and served on the La Joya School Board for over 20 years. He was also a member of the La Joya Quarterback Club.

Survivors include his children, Pamela Flores, Monica Flores and Lucrecio Flores III; and three grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 5, at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ramon Or’z, Esequiel Or’z, Billy Langley, Abelardo Mireles, Sergio Briones and Alberto Briones. Honorary pallbearers will be Lucrecio Flores III and Miguel Angel Martinez.
