OBIT – Erasmo Garza

GRANJENO – Erasmo “Tamo” Garza, 64, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017, at Pax Villa Hospice in McAllen.

Mr. Garza was raised in Granjeno and served as a deputy constable for Hidalgo County Pct. 3.

Survivors include his children, Erasmo Garza Jr., Priscilla Garza, and Cassandra Garza, all of Granjeno; siblings, Juan Garza, Irene Villarreal, Ninfa Garza and Maria Luisa Garza; and 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Amancio and Enedelia Garza; wife, Nelida Garza; and brother, Oscar Garza.

A funeral mass was held on Aug. 18 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Granjeno. Burial followed at Granjeno Cemetery.
