OBIT – Roberto Salas

MISSION – Roberto Salas, 81, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at his home in Mission.

Mr. Salas was born on June 7, 1936, in Torreon, Mexico, to Jose Salas and Gregoria Rodriguez.

Survivors include his wife, Maria de Jesus Salas; daughters, Olga Veronica Nunez and Nancy Salas; brother, Mariano Perez; and seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Sept. 19 at Virgil Wilson Mortuary in Mission. Burial followed at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.
